Richard Cruz is a serial entrepreneur that started in corporate America. Leaving the workplace early on to create his own space would turn out to be a winning strategy. He would build Atlas Embroidery into a successful business of multiple locations in less than a decade before selling the company and investing into another firm. His second business would also find success and later be acquired but a larger firm. After many years of business ownership Richard made a decision to re-enter the corporate workplace. In this episode he shares some of his learnings during his time transitioning back into the workplace: such as searching for a company with the right culture; interviewing tips; and, how an entrepreneur re-entering the workforce should conduct themselves.
